Robert Carney – Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Robert has 18 years software development and leadership experience including 11 years at Microsoft as a Development Manager, Architect, and Product Unit Manager.    While at Microsoft, he lead development teams on MSN 1.0, Commerce Server, BizTalk Server, bCentral, and Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS).  Robert has a wealth of experience developing scalable internet services including MSN 1.0, bCentral Commerce Manager, and the Microsoft Business Network, a B2B service for businesses running Microsoft Business Solutions products and Microsoft Office.  Robert was one of 100 Microsoft employees who were nominated and participated in a 2 year management fast track bench program in 2001.

Julio de Villasante – President and Chief Operation Officer

Julio has 18 years of entrepreneurship, general management and marketing experience in the electronic business arena including 5 years at Microsoft. Julio was Director for Software + Services for the Microsoft Dynamics products at the Microsoft Business Division. He was previously responsible for global launch, product marketing and product management as well as strategic business development for the MBS New Solutions Offerings Team. He joined Microsoft Business Solutions when it acquired bNexus Inc., where he was the co-founder and CEO, in 2002 to create and launch the bCentral™ branded business-to-business initiative in Latin America. Previously he was also a shareholder of Ekonom, S.A. de C.V. that was focused on value added services in the business to business arena and that placed part of its capital with the then publicly traded company Pacific Gateway Exchange of San Francisco. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and post graduate studies in International Commerce from the Universidad Anahuac.
